I’ve been reading a lot lately to discover why some people drive to continuously learn and apply what they have learned to excel toward a purpose. These applied learners continue to focus these efforts alongside peers who seemingly work almost as diligently to conscientiously hold still with no anticipation of failure. How long can they unknowingly hold onto “good enough” as they watch others pass them by?
Those learners that pursue excellence will experience numerous challenges and learn more from them. Those that persist in applied learning will grow to generate more value and impact in their efforts. Those that persist will lead others to invest with them and expand the impact or ripple effect even further. Are you reaching for what you are capable of? Are you still learning?
“I judge you unfortunate because you have never lived through misfortune. You have passed through life without an opponent—no one can ever know what you are capable of, not even you.” — Seneca —
