Make a Decision

There are many times when people pretend to make a decision, but what they have really done is hoping to try something until it gets too uncomfortable.  In her book, You Are A  Badass, Jen Sincero emphatically states “The moment it gets hard or expensive or puts you at risk of looking like a moron, if you haven’t made the decision, you’ll quit.  If it wasn’t uncomfortable, everyone would be out there all in love with their fabulous lives.”

The portion of your workouts that you get the most value from just begin when the repetitions start to be really hard.  Working through and beyond those really hard barriers in your work performance and with your ideas is where you truly grow as well.

Fred Smith wrote a paper while attending Yale about his big idea for an overnight delivery company.  He got a “C.”  He went on to Create FedEx anyway.  Appears the idea of fast delivery has really caught on since he worked through and beyond the barriers with sound habits decades ago.

Make a decision and set in place the habits you need to execute it.
