Talk or Do

Amateurs talk.  Amateurs offer opinions in support of this talk.  Amateurs sequence policy, organizational charts, stage gates, and forms to perpetuate repetition of the language without progress.  Future language may even continue to “screen” one deflection at a time.  The talk “plan” is placed in the book on the illustrious strategy shelf.  Talk payoff = incapacity to differentiate.

To Koestler’s description, when the language ends, creative professionals continue.  Professionals own it.  Professionals have a purpose that makes things better.  Professionals reside in absolute reality.  Professionals create and apply learning by doing within this reality.  Professionals start with the design and execute for the differentiating value of realized gains, to make things better.  Professionals engage with others in the process of creating and learning to sustain the realized gains.  Professionals support front line experience and generalization skills with leaders to recognize and address the next challenge that will certainly occur.

Be a pro.  Do with others.
