Change Your Mind

Are you capable of changing your mind on a regular basis?  Some will fix their thoughts on only what they currently believe and commit to this for their entire life.  But, shouldn’t we learn and change/advance our thinking as we read, listen, observe, and apply what we are learning?  No one should feel embarrassed or ashamed to change their mind from an earlier conviction.  Reserve the right to learn and to seek the truth.  There are certainly better alternatives for each of us and the people in our lives if we are capable of changing our minds.

Marcus Aurelius offered the following quote for us to consider: “If anyone can prove and show to me that I think and act in error, I will gladly change it — for I seek the truth, by which no one has ever been harmed.  The one who is harmed is the one who abides in deceit and ignorance.”
