There are times where we get stuck in a pattern of thoughts that leads to nowhere.  The problem is too big, the goal is too far away, and/or the competition is too strong.  So we freeze for a time.

From Rumi:

“Be empty of worrying.  Think of who created thought!  Why do you stay in prison when the door is so wide open?”

Our own thoughts hold us in place and they also help us to move forward.  There isn’t a door at all.  We just as well leave today, for the door is always open.  Take the next few unexpected steps.
