Memories Made

It’s one thing to have a clear vision, a strategy, a purpose and a WHY that you pursue and share with others.  Critically think of the end first, or you’ll wander everywhere.  “I have a dream” required a journey to realize progress.

So, the other thing is getting there.  This requires analytics, actions, decisions, and much more.  Getting there involves measured trials with tested theories, failures, indications of progress, and ultimately the accomplishments you together set out to make.  You will most remember, grow from, and celebrate the journey of the work together much more so than the vision itself.

How and what you do, along with when you do it creates the applied learned experiences and the relationships on the journey to success.  Sometimes this is fairly smooth, others not so much.  The memories made is the contribution, this is what you will remember the most.

“It’s realizing that a great dream is not as good as a great memory. The dream can be had by anyone. The memory – must be made.”       — Dr. Eric Thomas —
