Finish by Acting

The efforts of this Applied Learning blog would be inconsequential if all of those who read from it would fail to purposefully “finish by acting” as Thoreau denotes below in his quote.

The deeper learning value lies in the application/acting on your part, certainly not in the facilitation of a daily reference that is pushed out in an email file.  A realized difference will only be achieved when you, as the reader, connect these curated references within the experiences of your unique actions with others.

“A truly good book teaches me better than to read it. I must soon lay it down, and commence living on its hint. What I began by reading, I must finish by acting.”   — Henry David Thoreau —
