It is common and also much easier for leaders to just hope that everything will all work out.  There is the greatest of temptations to simply avoid the reality of it all and project a direction you hope will “move” the organization together.

We’ve centered learning in this format on the capacity to persistently deal with the wonders of reality across an organization.  It is only in a form nearest to reality that an organization can grow to be better and sustain that effort.
