We come across thousands of people in our lives, each presenting an opportunity to engage and to connect in some fashion, or not.
How might you be remembered after today? What will your habit be?
Some of us wish to be remembered positively. Some to simply transact through each day.
If you want to make a contribution today and to begin to make a difference with others, you must first genuinely engage.
This holds true for those we meet for the first time each day, as well as with those we might simply be walking past on a regular basis.
Make a habit of engaging, connecting and knowing others. Smile first. Offer more than a greeting and then just listen.
“Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same. — Flavia Weedn —
Let people know where your heart is and what you are about. No one is above or beneath genuine connections.
The giver is forever the greatest benefactor.
