Charles Deming once said that “it is not enough to do your best, you must first know what to do and then do your best. What is it that you will do as an applied learner to improve upon your own character and the contributions that you make with others in this matter?
A societal crisis is peaking the emotions, reactions and the heightened sense of determination that more progress needs to be made, now. With this specific crisis, it feels different to me. It appears to me that younger generations will no longer accept the progress of prior generations and walk on.
This generation will now look to create it’s own courageous and progressive movement from it’s lived experiences to reset the societal course for equality.
I look forward to seeing new leaders emerge that will facilitate the progress to be made. What will you learn in this experience yourself to first know what to do and then do your best?
