Your Pace

A better normal is ahead of you if you think to discover and then pursue it.  Better will not be the same, it can’t be.  It will seem odd at first to learn to behave differently.  Some will think the task is too big to take on and fall back into the rut of a previous normal.

There is a journey to be taken for some that wish to learn and to grow with those new experiences.  Some lessons to learn are harder for us than others, but we do know that the best lessons are the hardest learned.  When all is flowing smoothly, there is very little to learn.

Don’t allow yourself to become so overwhelmed up front that you then become unable to move forward at all.  Be still, your time to begin will become apparent to you and the first steps can easily be taken.

Our communities and societies have been disrupted on a global scale on multiple and  simultaneous fronts over the past months.  Think clearly of the end you will pursue and gradually move yourself through the disruptions with others.  Reflect and learn the necessary and applied lessons along the way and at your pace.  Sustainable progress from lived experiences takes time for an individual to accomplish.  This progress will take even longer for a larger group of people as they relate with their own newly lived experiences together with others.

“Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved.”   —  Helen Keller  —
