Confident?

What are you running toward?  If you are unsure, pause and reclarify your purpose.

Connecting, defining, experiencing, learning and applying what you have learned along the way is largely what makes up our lives.  This is where the memories are created and the narrative of a life story are written and shared with others later on.

“Along the way” is where you grow, relate and generate an impact with others.  If you race to reach the top on your own and forego all of these lived experiences to get there with others, you’ve missed the greatest part of living.

Create the course to reach your purpose and apply yourself with others to that end.

“I am convinced that the jealous, the angry, the bitter and the egotistical are the first to race to the top of mountains. A confident person enjoys the journey, the people they meet along the way and sees life not as a competition. They reach the summit last because they know God isn’t at the top waiting for them. He is down below helping his followers to understand that the view is glorious where ever you stand.”   —  Shannon Alder  —
