The One to Come

Disruptions everywhere in 2020.  No one is certain when these might end.  People are adapting to these changes at widely variant paces.

Some are fearful of ever leaving their homes while others rush into crowded places.

Some look away from social inequalities while others protest.

Unprecedented, unknown and/or unaccepted risks are hard to manage for ourselves. It is harder yet to comprehend and interpret the manner with which others are managing their conditions amid change, often quite differently than you.

There is a level of fear each has to their own that is associated with whatever the “new” conditions may be.  There is no certain end to change so we must keep living.  Each disruption is simply another transitional opportunity toward where you aim to meaningfully go in the larger scope of life.

So how will you learn from and apply what you are learning amid disruptive cycles of continual change?  The reference below may offer a unique, connecting thought for you to associate in your thought processing:

“Try not to resist the changes that come your way. Instead let life live through you. And do not worry that your life is turning upside down. How do you know that the side you are used to is better than the one to come?”   —  Rumi  —
