When thinking big, look first for the intelligence of what others around you are doing or have done before you. You can’t possibly have all the answers yourself for each unique opportunity to learn.
A sense of humility is not to be meek and have no confidence. Being humble is to comprehend and then demonstrate that an open mind takes us a great deal further in our learning experiences and progress.
Don’t waste your time trying to show others how smart you are up front, you’ll soon have no followers or believers without humility.
It is never about just you, but the manner with which you direct yourself with others is on you alone.
“Audacity gets you to shoot for big goals and humility gives you the open-mindedness to take in the best thinking available to you to get you to those goals.” — Ray Dalio —
