Middle Ground

Many people seeking to influence us today would have us believing that you must be at one end of the spectrum or the other to fit into a cultural group.

What about the middle ground where people assess their own reality for themselves and determine their own virtues as they learn and evolve? The closest we may ever come to the right answer for the greater good of a larger society is nearer to the middle ground.

In our own unique realities, we are nearly all positioned at some particular point of moderation in between the furthest ends of the spectrum. If we seek to continue learning in life while experiencing our own decisions, we move ourselves.

How much beyond the middle ground one way or another is enough? Where you stand across the broad middle is variable with each concept that you have adapted to and grown with. Being your best person and a contributor that relates well with and supports a larger community is okay.

Realizing your place in the middle ground requires courage and intelligence to live your best life. Be confident with seeking and learning the lessons in life to find your own way, despite the influencers push to the extremes.

“Virtue is the golden mean between two vices, the one of excess and the other of deficiency.”  — Aristotle —
