Decide

Each of us will make many decisions today. Most of these decisions are fairly routine and follow a standard pattern that you have set in your pattern of actions.

Red light? Stop the vehicle and wait your turn.

Menu order? What you usually pick.

Exercise today? Of course.

Some of us will make larger, more consequential decisions today, or not. These decisions are not so routine and we have probably been waiting for quite some time to decide.

Investment decision? Time to buy in.

New car? Still don’t need one.

Enroll in an advanced degree program? Now is the time.

The key is to make the most rational decision you have available at the best time you are aware of and then move on. Never making the important decisions will become regrettable at some point down the road. Deferring the decisions becomes your decision, you didn’t make one and life is happening to you.

“It doesn’t matter which side of the fence you get off on sometimes. What matters most is getting off.  You cannot make progress without making decisions.” — Jim Rohn —

Your decisions is?
