The realities of contrasting health and societal conditions altering our lives away from a prior “normal” continue to intrude upon us.
When can we expect an end date and time for these conditions to go away? Who might be making this announcement?
The reality, as most of us are experiencing disruptions in 2020, is that they will not go away. Mindsets and actions will need to be forever tempered going forward, at least to some degree.
Each of us has a path to set and reset. It will be different, but we still don’t know for certain what the difference will be. Ideally, we are each still learning and applying what we have learned each day into the next. This requires a great deal of patience.
Attempting to simply rush through these disruptions into the unknown isn’t a wise option. Pretending that each challenge is resolved in your mind and that you have had enough won’t change the nature of the continuing disruptions.
Be still as you navigate each challenge. Complete judgements, decisions and actions can’t be fully comprised just yet. Endure by patiently learning.
“It is easier to find men who will volunteer to die, than to find those who are willing to endure pain with patience.” — Julius Caesar —
