We all have memories to cherish and some that we would rather forget. Each day we spontaneously experience both good and bad things in our lives that we learn and grow from. Some more than others.
Present day experiences may be regenerated in our minds down the road as memories for a very long time. Some will be positive and others negative.
I, like most of you, prefer to recall those more uplifting memories. Approaching each day with a purpose and a determination to learn and to succeed helps to generate many more positive memories over ones that I will someday try to forget.
Have no regrets with what you put into each day. The memories will be better and more plentiful as you recall them later in life.
“It’s regrets that make painful memories. When I was crazy I did everything just right.” — Mark Vonnegut —
