Gratitude

The more we increase our expectations for the happiness that we are due in our lives, the less gratitude we tend to show for what we already have.

Be grateful for what you have, there is no guarantee you will have even those current moments of happiness going forward. Show gratitude to others that generate even those smaller and more regular moments of happiness with you.

Without gratitude for what you already have, you’ll rarely find more happiness.

“We’re a nation hungry for more joy: Because we’re starving from a lack of gratitude.” — Brene Brown —

Thank you to those that read this material each day and carry with them a connecting thought or two as they continue learning through life. For this, I am grateful.
