As an American tradition, families gather together for Thanksgiving. Seldom does it work for everyone to be there at one time, but families give it a concerted effort. It’s a tradition, so that is what they have learned to do.
Surprise, 2020 (#thesh*tshow) is again different because of the pandemic.
This year, to not gather in larger groups is what a family might do to best protect one another. Families adapt, even if a tradition is altered for a time. Family always comes first.
The Thanksgiving tradition may be different this year for us, but families will persist to always be there for one another, holiday or not. They shaped our past and they are the key to our future whether you gather together today or not.
