Ever heard the phrase, Do as I say and not as I do?

It’s difficult to follow along with an influencer, a mentor, a coach, or a leader that asks you to hold yourself accountable for an act that they themselves wouldn’t regularly perform.

Think about what it is that you are asking others to do and if you yourself are consistently demonstrating that same act or value with them.

The surest way to lose a follower is to not earnestly believe and act in the same manner you ask of them.
