Anyone is capable of setting a strategy, an annotated plan for getting from where they perform currently are to the improved position of where they intend to be. The art of the strategy process is in execution of that plan.
To create an outcome rather than simply plan for one, the below considerations for learning and applying what you have learned are critical:
Learn to know ahead of time the serious threats that you will face and avoid them.
Learn to know the imperative actions you must take to become more effective and repeat them.
Learn to know what level of investment it will take to get there (time, risk and resources).
Learn to discover new opportunities to exploit rather than focus only to solve every old problem.
The biggest challenge lies in the art of execution. A sound plan is only the first step in a much more complex journey.
