From an originating stimulus through to a formed action, there is a space. A space between where we have the opportunity to experience, to learn and to decide. The action needn’t be immediate, take the moments necessary to determine your best suited actions.
Choose mindfully to act towards your life’s purpose, not to merely react to a stimulus. Anticipate the space between and invest your time wisely. Don’t be rushed, we are free to choose.
The space between is the time for applied learning. Think openly to discover with each occurrence, as if you had never been in this space before. No need to always walk only on the sidewalk like a conforming adult should, there are so many other routes to take in the space between one point and another.
“If we add up all the rewards in our lives, we won’t have very much. But if we add up the spaces between the rewards, we”ll come up with quite a bit. And, if we add up the rewards and the spaces, then we’ll have everything – every minute of the time we spent.” — Benjamin Huff —
