Good Cards?

We all know a person or two that is flush with optimism. Even in a terrible predicament, they are found to believe they will generate their best feasible outcome. They look for the good at every turn. They see options where most others would only see and accept the barriers.

It’s been said that a number of highly successful businesses have been purchased by optimists, from pessimists. Each of us have options. In balance of optimism and pessimism, we set our courses. Never blind to reality nor closed to seemingly unknown prospects that may be uncovered.

There is great satisfaction that comes from learning and experiencing through adversity. Better to approach as an optimist to act, than to remain a pessimist who most often folds.

“Life is not always a matter of holding good cards, but sometimes playing a poor hand well.” — Jack London —
