Real Progress

I’ve always done it this way and will continue to do so.

Certainly there are things we encounter each day where we have learned a thing in the past that is no longer the better way to move forward. Because what we learned at one time long ago worked out for us, doesn’t make it the right way to eternally proceed. To evolve, we need to continue learning, relearning and unlearning.

Start again by asking questions and pause to listen with renewed curiosity rather than persist to talk of what you think you already know. The agility and capacity of the mind to grow and evolve is governed by your own intentional desire to continue learning. Closing your mind to no longer unlearn and relearn will bring you to become rigid and old. It is best for all of us if we continue learning.

What have you unlearned or relearned this week?

When any real progress is made, we unlearn and learn anew what we thought we already knew before.” — Henry David Thoreau —
