We all have fears that we might fail or that others will think poorly of us if we act the wrong way. It is hard to always be certain of yourself, fear creeps in and we naturally question ourselves. To question yourself isn’t a bad thing if you move onward from there.
If we stop completely in fear, we no longer continue learning from our actions. We’re stuck to just be thinking about the matter.
The wisest of people have doubts and fears, they just move onward within fear to more learned and more highly calculated actions. They work through matters of fear with persistence and grow from those lessons.
The dimmest of people have no doubts nor fear at all. They continue acting despite all consequences. Applied learning is never an option as fools rush in.
“Fear is the main source of superstition and one of the main sources of cruelty. To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom.” — Bertrand Russell —
