When we are in a really great place, we come to expect the next blessings in our lives. Things are going well and we expect this will continue. A critical factor in sustaining a well lived life is to express gratitude for even the smallest of those blessings.
With gratitude genuinely expressed, the full value of an experience is gained. It is a fitting end to a moment well-lived. It’s an opportunity for us to relate with and share those experiences with others. A few kind words offered is all it takes. Expressed gratitude costs you nothing but a few genuine words or a meaningful gesture.
Gratitude shouldn’t be considered an optional thing, no matter the circumstances. It builds momentum toward better things and the capacity to learn to live at your full potential.
Each day, apply gratitude.
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness in life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.” — Melody Beattie —
