Every so often, you come across a memorable interaction with another that you know will last your lifetime. A shared connection was made that will lead you and the other to a better way of life.
We thrive with the connections that we make with other people. These lasting connections are rooted in the purpose and meaning of lives shared. They propel us to be better with important matters going forward. They help us to emphasize the importance of sharing our lives with others as good friends will do.
Look to make connections with people rather than interact with others only to more easily make it through a day. Pause to come to know another rather than influence them to your advantage. Be a friend to have one.
“Friendship is based on the oldest and most intrinsic human awareness that there is more to life than just ourselves.” — Christopher Hansard —
