From focus comes growth. Have a prescribed focus for what you will learn so that you will evolve further toward your purpose in life. Knowledge that would be gathered and never applied to your purpose is wasteful and may take you of course. Idle knowledge is just that, idle, to never be applied for any realized value.
First, determine an organized plan for the new year for why and what you will learn next. Anything would do without a focused approach.
Second, execute the plan and do more than to simply Google a topic formed of one interpretation unless you are only looking for instructions. Reach deeply into your identified learning concept so that you will eventually process the information for yourself.
Third, apply what you are learning into your circumstances to begin to own the knowledge for yourself. Learn to a level of mastery where you do the right things to create something of value rather than simply do things right, just as you were told.
“As the biggest library if it is in disorder is not as useful as a small but well-managed one, so you may accumulate a vast amount of knowledge but it will be of far less value than a much smaller amount if you have not thought it over for yourself.” — Arthur Schopenhauer ––
