It continues to amuse me that two people can go through the exact same situation, yet upon reflection will share a totally different interpretation of what had just transpired. Some see only what their closed mind allows them to take in. Others soak up the details with great curiosity to discover new possibilities.
With an open mindset, people can prepare to learn. They look deeper to more fully comprehend an experience. They aspire to see even a common thing in a multitude of different ways. They pause to consider variances and the relationships of one thing or one person with another. They thrive to connect new patterns or sequences from observed processes for how they might make it better. They continue to learn the lessons available to all of us.
