My Bad

Yes, we all make mistakes. Each of us will have several in any given day. These mistakes generally happen as a result of our inattention or from a lack of learned experience in a novel situation. To that point in time we didn’t know enough and we made a mistake. There are also times where we simply don’t care to pay attention at all.

With those times that we simply didn’t care and a mistake was made, we have the chance to do it over again with having learned from it. If we would again fail to care in the next similar situation, it really wouldn’t be a mistake anymore. It would have been more than a simple mistake because we would have failed to learn from the first time.

Mistakes will happen, but continual learning and a concern for our choices will afford us a better outcome the next time a similar occurrence comes forth. Have the courage to care enough to have learned to find a better way. Each of us in relation to one another rely on the other to do so.

Mistakes are to be recognized and learned from. In fact, this is the most common way. We learn by doing and learning and reapply what we have learned for a better outcome. There are courses to take, decide to learn for the better one from our first mistakes.

“When you repeat a mistake, it is not a mistake anymore: it is a decision.” — Paulo Coelho —
