Credible

Without credibility a person would have no one to listen and a leader would have no one to follow them. Most people want to trust and verify another before they would listen fully and grow to follow.

To be credible yourself, John Maxwell offered these three things. Initiative to get up to go up. Sacrifice to give up to go up. Maturity to grow up to go up.

If you would demonstrate the way, people will come to listen and to follow. You earn trust from others to be believed to be credible and you usually have just one chance to establish that relationship. People aren’t fond of being fooled. If you would only talk sh*t and not follow through by doing the right thing, others will rightfully fail to listen or to follow.

“Credibility comes from results. Everything else is just marketing.” — Richie Norton —
