Expectations are better set high for achievement so that we stretch ourselves by vision for a greater outcome. A thing worth doing is worth doing well and this endeavor begins with expecting of yourself above the status quo.
Expectations for other people are better set low from the onset, it is their motivation and not yours that you would ever come to rely upon. Everyone is coming from a different place and perspective, we shouldn’t expect others to magically pair their expectations with yours.
In developing relationships, the expectations of another comes to be better known and understood. One will eventually influence the other and both can become better as a result with the sharing of expectations. When you discover and build a group with high expectations of themselves for high achievement, the group will flourish together.
Remain to be positive in managing your own expectations and learn to moderate what you first expect from others. In balance, look optimistically in alignment for solutions together and not for problems with variant expectations.
