To tell the truth doesn’t require a long and detailed answer when questioned. Often, the longer the message, the more that fabrication is occurring. A “yes” or “no” answer is often the truth we should seek and that we should offer.
If you find yourself wanting to scramble with justifications, just pause to be truthful. If you witness another doing the same, be leery that the truth is buried somewhere amid the crafted messages.
