We would be wise to comprehend that all things change over time. Our assessment and learning experiences from years ago are not likely to be the same. Yet, as a comfort, we tend to assume that it would be just like we remembered it before.
Pause to reassess even the things that seem regular before you would determine there has been no change. If it has remained constant by your assessment, proceed as such. If it has changed, even nominally, readjust your approach to learn a better way.
The wise remain so and even grow new wisdoms because they remain curious to learn. There is no automated response in their learning journey, each occasion is refreshed with adequate assessment to be be applied with their learning.
