When we reach a point of a major challenge in our lives, it becomes even more important for us to continue to move forward. If we would pause and hold still, our remaining stuck would only deepen and extend the negative impact. Better to move onward.
By finding another way to think and to act beyond the challenge is far more meaningful than to only suffer from it. By moving forward we learn again. By moving forward for the benefit of others and ourselves, we find greater meaning and purpose in our lives.
Seek to understand the meaning of the challenge, but don’t overthink it so that you would wear it for a lifetime. Determine the movement forward one thought and one informed action at a time. With each increment of progress, celebrate to move on to the next until you are at a better place.
“I was in darkness, but I took three steps and found myself in paradise. The first step was a good thought, the second, a good word: and the third, a good deed.” — Friedrich Nietzsche —
