From first appearance, we can come to formalize our wanting view over the reality of what will eventually become apparent. Pause at first appearance to hold judgment from that instant of reflection. To find truth in consistency over time is a much better perspective to move forward from.
For appearance sake, some will put their best foot forward, but then fail to act in that same fashion over time. A person that greets you with exuberances once and then ignores you from that point forward is not earnest in their actions.
Pause well beyond first appearances. Better to bring together what you know over time to determine your response. There is a great difference between first appearances and reality. As a person of character, be consistent yourself in all interactions and intent.
