The longer we sustain a habit, the harder it seems to change that habit. In the case of a good habit, this can work very well for us as we sustain a good thing. If it were a negative habit, one that holds us back, this will tend to work against us.
In the flow of positive focus, the good habits help us to flow easily and adapt more quickly on the course we set for ourselves. It’s easy to build on one success after another as your habits are formed. We continue learning and adapting with success along with others we are closest to.
In the flow of negative focus, where we often feel controlled or of ill-fate, the mind is exceedingly hard to change. Apathy sets in as fear to close the mind and we tend to accept the difficulties rather than focus more positively past them.
Habits set our course, both the good and the bad. Focus to aim habit’s toward your purpose in life with a positive flow of learning, relearning and directing to improve upon yourself continuously. Go toward where others want you to go as well. The positive focus, generated by yourself for your learned success, is a key to relating well with others as well.
“The secret to change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.” — Socrates —
