Each day we have the options to pursue the day as an optimist or to be a pessimist. Optimism draws in better and broader thinking for things that will happen for you. The optimistic mind is open to the new and more complex resolution to achieve, while the negative and pessimistic approach draws you to close in on yourself.
There will be challenges and ill-fate in our lives. Better to meet these with a positive mindset to deal with it and learn from it as we move onward. This requires a will to work in reality for the benefit of the lessons to be learned and the advancements to be made. We can always find our way through with optimism, where pessimism draws us backward.
Oscar Wilde was once quoted as saying, “the optimist see’s the donut; the pessimist the hole.” Look for the donut to build upon, the hole is just a part of it all.
“A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” — Winston Churchill —
