We learn from others. Some that we learn from are great teachers, mentors, leaders and coaches that we greatly admire and appreciate for sharing their lessons.

For the great ones, I am learning and emulating them with a passionate appreciation.
For the poor ones, I am growing with a passionate distaste of what I experience with them.
We learn from both. The examples both serve to help us learn.
I prefer the great ones and work to be that sort of teacher or coach. However, we should never pass up an opportunity to learn from the poor examples as well.
