Who around you makes you a better person?
It is obviously better to invest your time with those that lift you up, rather than pull you down. To attract those that lift you up, reflect to act as a person that makes others better as well. Your choice, your relationships.
Choose to avoid or to suitably work around those that pull you down. If you find that everyone is pulling you down, it is time to look again at yourself.
Smile first and open with acts of kindness and the people that make you better will genuinely align. To remain isolated is not a good option, authentic relationships help us to thrive.
Relationships are worth investing in. They are necessary for us to sustain and to continually discover throughout our lifetime.
“There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.” — Edith Wharton —
